The project was launched in June last year. In terms of support materials, after adopting high-strength steel for anchor cables, the strength increased from 1860MPa to 2160MPa, enhancing support reliability; anchor cable plates use 700MPa grade high-strength steel plates, with thickness reduced from 14mm to 9mm; W-shaped steel belts use 750MPa grade high-strength steel, with thickness reduced from 2.75mm to 2mm, reducing self-weight. The high-performance mining steel developed by the Coal Mining and Utilization Research Institute of Pingmei Shares achieves material weight reduction while ensuring strength.
After adopting 550MPa grade high-strength steel for underground water/air pipes and gas drainage pipes, the wall thickness of water/air pipes was reduced from 6mm to 4mm, and the wall thickness of gas drainage pipes was reduced from 4mm to 3mm. The compressive and corrosion-resistant properties of the green mining materials have been simultaneously improved, extending service life and reducing maintenance costs. It is understood that the new mining materials have been trialed successively in the Ji 15-31100 machine roadway of Pingmei No. 4 Mine and the Ji 16, 17-22260 machine roadway of Pingmei No. 11 Mine.
On-site usage data and feedback indicate that this series of high-performance mining steel is easy to install, performs well, reduces the labor intensity of workers, and improves operational efficiency.
