en.Wedoany.com Reported - OZ Lifting Products LLC has launched a new line of stainless steel davit cranes, components, and accessories, specifically designed for corrosive, sanitary, and washdown environments. This product line is available for order starting June 1, 2025.

The newly launched Stainless 850 and Stainless 1500 davit cranes, with rated capacities of 850 lb and 1500 lb respectively, represent OZ Lifting's seventh davit crane series. They are offered as complete stainless steel systems, including the base, winch, and accessories, forming a complete ecosystem that works in synergy. This expansion of the stainless steel series reinforces OZ Lifting's commitment to specialized, high-performance industries. Manufactured from Type 304 stainless steel, the cranes are suitable for demanding markets such as aerospace, chemical processing, electronics, food processing, mining, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, textiles, and water treatment, with the goal of providing superior resistance to rust, contamination, and long-term degradation.

OZ Lifting President Steve Napieralski recalled that as far back as the late 1980s, while attending WEFTEC (Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference), he repeatedly heard a request for a stainless steel version of the davit crane. At the time, market options were limited or required complete customization, and stainless steel was considered too expensive. However, the need for durable, portable products in harsh environments with constant moisture, corrosive chemicals, and confined spaces was evident. Napieralski stated that this launch not only addresses the wastewater treatment sector but also fills a genuine gap in industries such as food processing, cleanrooms, and marine applications. The new products are fully compatible with existing OZ davit cranes and components, allowing customers to selectively upgrade or expand without replacing the entire system. The Stainless 850 and 1500 support mixed-and-matched configurations between stainless steel and standard components based on application needs, providing a cost-effective path for transitioning to stainless steel products in corrosive or sanitary environments. Napieralski added that with a modular, application-oriented design, one crane can be used across multiple base mountings, reducing downtime when moving between different work areas.

The Stainless 850 and 1500 davit cranes are individually proof tested at 125% of rated capacity and comply with NSF H1 food-grade standards. They come with a full suite of companion stainless steel products, including base plates, sockets and wall mounts, mast extensions, wire rope supports, bump heads, back plates, rope assemblies, and manual brake winches. Other key product features include an electropolished finish (providing corrosion resistance and easy cleaning), a 2.5:1 safety factor, drill-driven winches, and integrated Weston brakes. All OZ Lifting davit cranes feature essential characteristics such as tool-free assembly (US patent), corrosion-resistant finishes, and a quick-connect pin system, with optional AC or DC powered winches. This latest release expands OZ Lifting's stainless steel product portfolio, which already includes lever hoists, chain hoists, beam clamps, push beam trolleys, and manual brake winches, widely used in locations requiring food-grade and cleanroom standards. The new stainless steel davit crane products are available for order starting June 1.
