en.Wedoany.com Reported - Côte d'Ivoire's Ministry of Environment and Ecological Transition has issued three environmental approval certificates to ASX-listed Aurum Resources for its Boundiali Gold Project, paving the way for the company to obtain the mining permit required to develop the project.
Aurum Resources Managing Director Dr. Caigen Wang said: "The granting of these three certificates is a transformative milestone for the Boundiali Project. It is the culmination of 12 months of comprehensive environmental and social work across our more than 572km² area, and demonstrates the strong support we have received from the Ivorian government, regulators, and local communities." He further stated: "With the environmental approvals now secured, we have cleared a key regulatory hurdle on our path from a 3.22-million-ounce mineral resource to developer and ultimately, gold producer. The Boundiali Project is advancing rapidly — our Pre-Feasibility Study is nearing completion, we have 16 of our own diamond drill rigs operating day and night to expand the resource base, and we are well-funded with A$61 million in cash to complete the Definitive Feasibility Study by the end of 2026."
Boundiali is Aurum's flagship project, comprising seven contiguous exploration permits. It is located within the same greenstone belt as Resolute Mining's Syama Gold Mine, Perseus Mining's Sissingué Gold Mine, and Montage Gold's Koné Project.
