en.Wedoany.com Reported - EV Resources, an antimony supplier listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, has secured a monthly supply of 2,330 to 2,430 tons of raw materials for its Tecomatlán antimony processing plant in Mexico by signing four non-binding Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). This volume represents 50% to 60% of the plant's nameplate capacity, and these materials will be available before the company's own ore mining begins.

The Tecomatlán plant is currently undergoing renovation and the installation of a two-stage gravity beneficiation circuit, providing a low-cost, high-efficiency pathway for antimony processing. According to the plan, the plant will prioritize processing third-party ore before gradually handling materials from EV Resources' own Los Lirios mine, located 50 kilometers away. At Los Lirios, preliminary drilling has identified a laterally extensive carbonate replacement system, and the company is advancing its first resource estimate. Additionally, EV Resources holds the Dollar and Milton antimony development projects in Nevada.

Among the four MoUs, three are signed with existing antimony mining operations, diversifying supply sources and validating the feasibility of the company's "hub-and-spoke" strategy. The first MoU covers a monthly supply of 2,000 tons of antimony with a grade of 5%, with material transported less than 10 kilometers. The remaining three new MoUs cover multiple mining areas located 130 to 350 kilometers from the plant, each providing 50 to 300 tons per month of antimony with grades ranging from 5% to 6%. An additional MoU is currently under in-depth negotiation and is expected to be finalized soon, bringing further supplementary materials to the plant.

Meanwhile, EV Resources has initiated optimization studies and begun testing a third-stage concentration scheme to assess the cost-effectiveness of improving antimony concentrate grades. As the Tecomatlán plant gradually approaches its target production, these MoUs create a clear pathway for third-party raw material supply and potential near-term cash flow.
