Vietnam's steel producer Hoa Phat Group has adjusted its July delivery hot-rolled coil (SAE1006, non-skin passed) prices, reducing them by $13/ton month-on-month, equivalent to 473,836 Vietnamese dong/ton. After the reduction, the ex-VAT price in the southern region stands at $584/ton, equivalent to 15,373,336 Vietnamese dong/ton. This price cut is mainly attributed to the decline in import prices in the region.
