en.Wedoany.com Reported - Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: "ASHL") has announced additional assay results from the first phase of its drilling program at the wholly-owned Tak Patent Area, with drill hole TAK-26-03 returning gold mineralization grading 0.220 g/t over 156.50 meters.

Further analysis of this drill hole showed gold grades of 0.332 g/t over 28.65 meters from the collar (4.5 to 33.15 meters), including a 12.65-meter interval from 22.50 to 33.15 meters with gold grades increasing to 0.580 g/t. Additionally, an 18.00-meter interval from 92.0 to 110.0 meters returned gold grades of 0.749 g/t, including a high-grade section of 4.35 meters (92.0 to 96.35 meters) with gold grades of 2.347 g/t.
Company President Noah Komavli stated that drill hole TAK-26-03 consistently showed elevated gold grades over most of the core length, confirming the results of drill hole TAK-26-02, which expanded the southward width of the recently identified D99Z zone. CEO Darcy Christian added that the pervasive gold mineralization observed in the past several drill holes continues to indicate the presence of a large-scale hydrothermal system.
Currently, Phase 2 drilling is underway, with three holes completed and a fourth hole started on the morning of the same day. Phase 2 drilling will focus on the 67Z target.
Phase 1 drilling aimed to verify historical drill holes from 1999 and 2002, as historical core is no longer available. TAK-26-02 and TAK-26-03 are the deepest drill holes ever completed in the project area, and mineralization at the bottom of these holes shows widespread green sericite-chlorite alteration, brecciation, and quartz veining, accompanied by increased sulfide content, features indicative of high interaction with hydrothermal fluids. Results for TAK-26-04 and TAK-26-05 are pending.
The Tak project has a long history of exploration. Between 1998 and 1999, Triex Resources drilled 10 holes in the area, with drill hole TAK-99-10 returning 31.83 meters grading 2.082 g/t gold from 3.57 to 35.40 meters. In 2002, Southern Rio Resources drilled 8 holes, delineating stockwork gold mineralization extending approximately 350 meters along strike and about 100 meters in depth. Ashley Gold Corp. acquired 100% ownership of the project in January 2026 through an all-share transaction.
