It integrates a twin-screw extruder and can be configured with various process components based on customer requirements. When used in conjunction with a solid-state polycondensation (SSP) reactor, the resulting recycled PET (rPET) has received certification from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), making it suitable for direct food contact.

The system has been available for order since the end of last year. Its capacity ranges from approximately 1,100 pounds per hour to 10 tons per hour, enabling the production of rPET for food trays and beverage containers.
