en.Wedoany.com Reported - Spanish energy efficiency consultancy Conetika has completed the installation of a 5.7 kWp photovoltaic system on a single-family home in Villanueva de la Cañada, Madrid, with equipment supplied by German distributor Baywa re.

A representative from Conetika told pv magazine that the system uses 12 Hi-MO X10 Full Black modules manufactured by Chinese manufacturer Longi, each with a power output of 475 Wp, paired with a 10 kW inverter and two 10 kWh batteries for energy storage and self-consumption management.

The installation utilized the Novotegra Europe coplanar roof system developed by Baywa re, which is mounted on top of the tiles and secured to the roof structure using stainless steel hooks and aluminum profiles. The modules are installed in a coplanar manner without additional tilt, facing due south.

According to Conetika's estimates, the system is expected to generate 9.4 MWh annually, meeting 65% of the household's electricity needs and achieving a self-sufficiency rate of 90%.

The company also estimates that this will optimize the previous annual energy consumption of 6.5 MWh. The system has been designed with future expansion capacity of 4.75 kWp, planned for implementation when an air-source heat pump air conditioning system is introduced to the home.

The company spokesperson concluded that the configuration prioritizes efficiency and building integration, with module efficiency reaching 23.3% and a uniform black appearance that facilitates aesthetic integration with the roof.
