The target metrics defined jointly with QoQa form the basis of the new system and show that the facility is designed with growth in mind. In daily operations, the distribution center runs 250 days per year, five days a week, with two shifts totaling 12 operational hours. The facility handles approximately 130 pallets of incoming goods per day, ships about 21,700 items, and dispatches a total of around 7,500 shipping units. Fully automated pallet storage, automatic transport of shipping carriers, and direct picking and automated packaging processes provide an initial growth buffer of about 30%. The layout offers significant expansion storage capacity for a total of 371,901 items.
