en.Wedoany.com Reported - AM General will showcase next-generation military vehicles at the European Defense Exhibition, including an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) and the JLTV A2, both integrated with advanced air defense systems. The exhibition will be held from June 15 to 19, 2026, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center in France, with AM General's booth located in the U.S. Pavilion (Hall 5, Booth B189).

John Chadbourne, President and CEO of AM General, stated that the European Defense Exhibition provides an opportunity for industry leaders and armed forces to discuss the evolution of the battlefield and how cutting-edge technologies like the AM General UGV can achieve mission success. AM General uses this platform to demonstrate the application of autonomous mobility technology in logistics support, casualty evacuation, lethal missions, and defensive operations, with live demonstrations conducted using the Hornet C-UAS remote weapon station at the event.
AM General's Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) transforms a proven tactical vehicle platform into a modular unmanned system. Developed in collaboration with Textron Systems Corporation and Carnegie Robotics, the platform combines AM General's rugged chassis with advanced autonomy, electronic control technology, and scalable payloads. Equipped with an upgraded 250-horsepower engine, the UGV has a payload capacity of 2,720 kilograms, supporting a variety of missions including logistics, reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and armed surveillance. During the exhibition, the vehicle will be fitted with the Hornet remote weapon station featuring anti-drone capabilities, showcasing the platform's modularity and ability to integrate deployed systems to increase operational range and enhance soldier protection.
The JLTV A2 will also be on display, a four-seat variant integrated with the Hornet Lite lightweight remote weapon system. In addition to integrating defensive weapons, the system provides extended detection, identification, and recognition capabilities for reconnaissance. The JLTV A2 features significant improvements over the A1 platform, with over 1,000 changes and enhancements included in the Technical Data Package (TDP). As a next-generation vehicle evolved from the JLTV A1 platform, it offers more efficient manufacturing processes, higher reliability, better maintainability and sustainability, and enhanced combat capabilities, making it the most capable light tactical vehicle currently available. The JLTV A2 is being delivered to the U.S. government for testing and evaluation.
