en.Wedoany.com Reported - Renishaw has announced the launch schedule for the XC100 environmental compensator, which will be officially showcased from September 14 to 19 at IMTS 2026 in Chicago, USA, and from September 15 to 19 at AMB 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany. The XC100 employs real-time automatic wavelength correction, and when paired with a laser measurement system, achieves a linear laser measurement accuracy of 0.4 ppm.

The XC100 collects air temperature, air pressure, and relative humidity in real time, and automatically corrects the laser wavelength based on environmental data. The system can also measure the temperature of the workpiece or machine tool material, converting calibration results obtained under different temperature conditions to standard temperature conditions. The device supports combined configurations of air sensors and material sensors, and is equipped with a high-resolution LCD touchscreen.

The device can be used in combination with Renishaw's XL-80 laser interferometer, XM-60 and XM-600 multi-axis calibration systems, and CARTO software, primarily targeting precision calibration of machine tool geometric accuracy, linear positioning, and multi-axis motion systems. The XC100 is a new model developed based on the previous generation XC-80 environmental compensation technology.

Renishaw has arranged for the XC100 to be showcased successively at the IMTS and AMB manufacturing exhibitions, with the two exhibition periods covering the US and German markets respectively. This launch focuses on three core parameters: environmental compensation, real-time wavelength correction, and 0.4 ppm linear measurement accuracy.
