en.Wedoany.com Reported - Wia Gold (ASX: WIA) has released the latest assay results from its 19,819-meter drilling program at the Kokoseb Gold Project in Namibia.

Data from 29 diamond drill holes and 10 reverse circulation (RC) holes reveal a new high-grade mineralized zone in the lower part of the Central Zone, while high-grade mineralization has also extended beyond the current open-pit Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) boundary.

The newly discovered deep target consists of thick gold mineralization, located approximately 700 meters below surface and 350 meters below the scoping study pit shell.

Diamond drill hole KDD137 intersected 54.1 meters at 1.25 g/t gold, including 17.0 meters at 2.16 g/t gold, which further contains 9.0 meters at 2.24 g/t gold, and within that, 4.0 meters at 3.06 g/t gold.

Key intercepts in the new zone include: KDD147 returned 9.0 meters at 10.64 g/t gold from 811.0 meters, including 4.0 meters at 22.76 g/t gold; KDD137 returned 9.0 meters at 2.24 g/t gold from 801.0 meters, including 3.0 meters at 3.18 g/t gold.

Extension diamond drill hole KDD152 extended the high-grade down-plunge zone of the Central Zone to 580 meters below the scoping study pit shell, returning 12.0 meters at 1.86 g/t gold, including 3.0 meters at 3.04 g/t gold.

Other significant intercepts include: KDD139 returned 10.8 meters at 5.43 g/t gold from 322.2 meters, including 4.0 meters at 11.10 g/t gold; KDD143 returned 15.0 meters at 2.18 g/t gold from 414.0 meters; KDD162 returned 8.7 meters at 2.66 g/t gold from 648.4 meters.

In the South Zone, diamond drill hole KDD156 extended the high-grade down-plunge zone further to between 80 meters and 480 meters below the scoping study pit shell, returning 9.0 meters at 2.59 g/t gold, including 4.0 meters at 4.83 g/t gold.

The RC drilling program focused on testing the shallowest mineralization extensions at the base of the MRE. Key intercepts include KRC580, which returned 19.0 meters at 1.52 g/t gold from 281.0 meters, including 3.0 meters at 3.09 g/t gold.

An updated MRE is currently being calculated, which will incorporate all historical sampling data up to and including the period covered by this announcement.

The Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the Kokoseb project remains on track for completion in the third quarter of 2026.

Wia Gold CEO Henk Diederichs stated that mineralization has extended 580 meters below the scoping study pit shell, with two high-grade plunges remaining open at depth.

The Kokoseb project is located 320 kilometers by road from Namibia's capital, Windhoek, within Exclusive Prospecting License 4818. The license is held by a joint venture between Wia and state-owned mining company Epangelo, with Wia holding an 80% interest.
