en.Wedoany.com Reported - Moho Resources has signed a heritage agreement with the Palyku-Jartayi Aboriginal Corporation, unlocking access to approximately 80% of the Bush Chook project area within a proven gold district in the Pilbara Craton of Western Australia. Moho Resources (ASX:MOH) stated that the agreement is a key milestone for the company, clearing the way for heritage surveys to advance priority drilling targets.
Moho Resources Chairman Peter Christie said the agreement allows the company to initiate regional exploration in one of the least explored areas within the Mosquito Creek Basin. The Bush Chook project covers a total area of 442 square kilometers and is located in the Mosquito Creek Basin, targeting multiple shallow gold prospects. The region is estimated to host 2.5 million ounces of gold resources.
Moho is actively exploring the Bush Chook gold project. As the largest exploration tenement in the Mosquito Creek Basin, the project is surrounded by multiple operating and developing gold mines and processing facilities. The project lies within transport distance of existing infrastructure, including the Golden Eagle processing plant, operated by billionaire explorer Mark Creasy, which has an annual processing capacity of 1.8 million tonnes.
With the heritage agreement in place, Moho plans to conduct heritage surveys to accelerate progress on two high-priority shallow gold drilling targets: Emu and Bright Tank. At the Emu target, a 100-meter high-grade rock chip trend with gold grades up to 13.4 g/t exists within an ironstone quartz vein over 200 meters of strike length and 20 meters wide, located 2 kilometers from AIM Mining's Barton gold mine. The Bright Tank target features two high-grade rock chip clusters along a 600-meter strike direction, with gold grades up to 12.7 g/t.
Moho positions Bush Chook as a broader multi-target system. Reverse circulation drilling at Rocky Ridge and Gage Road has been completed, and the drill rig is operating at CBco to support the pipeline of shallow high-grade gold targets. Assay results are expected to be released in July.
