Recent Baldock extension drilling has identified multiple high-grade gold intercepts outside the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The current resource estimate stands at over 1 million ounces at a grade of 3.5 g/t gold. Notable drilling results come from approximately 300 meters below and beyond the existing resource boundary, including 3 meters at 23.6 g/t gold from 689 meters, and 8 meters at 7.7 g/t gold from 666 meters, including 2.3 meters at 20.3 g/t gold.

According to Ballard, the latest drilling has extended mineralization along strike by approximately 200 meters, indicating significant potential for a substantial increase in the Baldock resource. Other results from outside the current resource include 2 meters at 24.1 g/t gold from 484 meters, 3 meters at 6.7 g/t gold from 150 meters, 3 meters at 6.1 g/t gold from 511 meters, 3 meters at 5.9 g/t gold from 372 meters, and 3 meters at 5.8 g/t gold from 208 meters and 125 meters, respectively. The company stated that the latest geological interpretation has identified a significant depth extension of the deposit and suggests mineralization may extend a further 1,500 meters along strike to the south.

Ballard is pursuing a dual-track strategy focused on resource growth and project development at the Mt Ida project. The area covers a 26-kilometer stretch of prospective greenstone belt approximately 540 kilometers northeast of Perth. Managing Director Paul Brennan said these results could significantly enhance the Baldock resource. Brennan noted that this is a very exciting development for Ballard, with the potential to add a substantial resource boost on top of the existing base load +1 Moz Baldock deposit. The company's 2026 exploration program is currently optimized for near-term development rather than fully testing the system's potential. These results continue to reinforce their belief that Mt Ida could be a camp-scale project that has historically been underexplored. As the company completes the remaining planned drilling for the current calendar year, its focus is on identifying the next 1Moz at Mt Ida.

Ballard currently has three diamond drill rigs targeting the Baldock extension area, along with three reverse circulation rigs testing regional targets within the project area.
