en.Wedoany.com Reported - KYOCERA AVX launched a web-based RF engineering tool, Antenna Integrator Studio, on June 29, 2026, designed to simplify and accelerate the antenna selection and placement process.

Wireless connectivity has become a common feature in many electronic products, making RF engineering a fundamental element of product design. Selecting the correct antenna and PCB positioning is critical to this process, as errors can lead to signal attenuation, severe impedance mismatch, reduced range, and excessive battery drain. In industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, medical, industrial IoT, telecommunications, and high-speed networking, avoiding these consequences is particularly important due to strict performance, space, and environmental constraints.

Antenna Integrator Studio is designed to be easy and intuitive to use. Users simply input PCB dimensions and the required number of antennas, select target frequency bands, and set optimization priorities—maximizing efficiency or minimizing cost. After clicking "Analyze," the tool displays the optimal antenna positions best suited for the PCB layout, along with interactive performance charts. Users can then analyze efficiency, return loss, peak gain, and radiation patterns for each frequency band in detail, and download DXF and 3D files for integration into PCB designs. The tool also supports ordering samples and starting prototyping, and includes an approximately four-minute video tutorial. The first version of the tool contains thousands of simulations of onboard embedded antennas, with future versions adding more features and antenna technologies.

Carmen Redondo, Global Marketing Director for Antennas at KYOCERA AVX, stated that Antenna Integrator Studio is designed to help RF engineers make smarter, faster, data-driven decisions in the antenna selection and placement process, enabling them to deliver higher-quality, higher-performance wireless products. The tool eliminates the guesswork of manually selecting antennas and evaluating layouts, allowing engineers to quickly optimize designs for performance or cost efficiency and evaluate simulated performance, thereby accelerating time to market.

KYOCERA AVX is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyocera Corporation, with dozens of R&D and manufacturing facilities in over 15 countries worldwide.
