en.Wedoany.com Reported - During the 2026 Mobile World Congress Shanghai, China Mobile hosted the "Hand-in-Hand" Global Partners Conference on June 25, themed "Connectivity as the Foundation, Intelligence for the Future: Building a Global Digital Future Together." The conference brought together over 78 operators and more than 400 industry partners and guests from around the world to explore opportunities for transformation in the communications industry amid the wave of artificial intelligence and new ideas for collaborative development of the global digital ecosystem. Li Huidi, Vice President of China Mobile, attended and delivered a speech. Xu Jiantao, President of the Marketing Department at HMN Tech, was invited to participate, joining China Mobile International, Telecom Italia Sparkle, Telkom Indonesia International Telin, and industry consultancy TeleGeography to discuss global submarine cable industry trends in the AI era.

In his speech, Li Huidi, Vice President of China Mobile, pointed out that artificial intelligence is profoundly reshaping the underlying logic of the global digital economy, with the communications industry facing three fundamental changes: network value upgrading from "Internet backbone" to "physical foundation for global computing power collaboration"; growth logic shifting toward computing-network integration and AI empowerment; and operator collaboration evolving from "pipeline connectivity" to "value symbiosis." He emphasized that breaking through challenges through unity and pursuing open, win-win cooperation are the optimal common choices for the industry in the face of change.

Xu Jiantao, President of the Marketing Department at HMN Tech, shared insights during a panel discussion on global submarine cable industry trends in the AI era, focusing on cutting-edge technical solutions and innovative industrial cooperation approaches.

In the wave of artificial intelligence, the rapid development of AI computing power has led to a tenfold to hundredfold surge in traffic. Large capacity, new routes, and highly resilient networking have become industry imperatives against the backdrop of accelerating computing power iteration. HMN Tech showcased its globally leading 32-fiber-pair transoceanic communication solution, capable of supporting Petabit-level ultra-large capacity long-distance transoceanic transmission, meeting regional interconnection traffic demands driven by digital and intelligent transformation. To address the contradiction between insufficient industry production capacity and long delivery cycles of submarine cable projects failing to meet AI computing power development needs, HMN Tech proposed an innovative, win-win, risk-sharing, and proactive project delivery cooperation model. Leveraging its complete end-to-end supply chain, flexible and abundant construction resources, and delivery experience, it seeks a balance between rapid implementation and optimal system design to accelerate the commercial deployment of submarine cable projects and enhance the layout efficiency of transoceanic communication backbone networks.

HMN Tech stated that it will continue to advance large-capacity marine optical communication technology and innovative business models, strengthen the physical foundation for global computing power collaboration, and contribute to building a global digital future together.
