en.Wedoany.com Reported - India's state-owned Navratna enterprise NHPC Limited, on behalf of Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), has issued an online e-tender invitation for the construction of an approximately 80 km long 400 kV transmission line in Jalaun district, Uttar Pradesh, with a project cost fixed at ₹2.5922 billion (inclusive of GST). The transmission line will be used to evacuate power from a planned 1,200 MW solar park in the area. The tender follows a single-stage, two-bid process under domestic competitive bidding.

Tender documents are available for viewing and download from June 23. Interested bidders may submit queries and seek clarifications until July 1. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 6 at NHPC's office complex in Faridabad, with an online participation option available. The selected contractor must complete the project within 24 months from the start date.
Online bid submission is open from July 12 to July 20, and bidders must submit supporting physical documents, including the tender fee and bid security, to NHPC's Faridabad Contracts (E&M) Division II by July 21. The technical bid is scheduled to be opened on July 22, while the date for opening the financial bid will be announced later by the authorities. The tender documents specify a non-refundable fee of ₹10,000 and a bid security of ₹26 million. Additionally, NHPC has outlined additional performance bank guarantee requirements for subsidiaries qualifying based on their parent company's financial or technical strength.
Financial eligibility requirements include an average annual turnover of at least ₹1.373 billion over the last two consecutive financial years, with a minimum working capital of ₹216 million. All submissions will be processed through the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) to ensure transparency and competitive participation.
