en.Wedoany.com Reported - Neolix, an L4 autonomous driving logistics company, announced on June 30, 2026, that it has officially received approval from the Malaysian Ministry of Transport, becoming one of the first enterprises authorized to conduct sandbox testing of unmanned delivery vehicles on public roads. The tests will be carried out in Cyberjaya, Malaysia's smart city.
Neolix specializes in L4 autonomous driving logistics delivery and has deployed unmanned delivery services in multiple markets across China and overseas. This approval grants the unmanned delivery vehicle testing qualification under Malaysia's National Autonomous Driving Regulatory Sandbox framework. According to the plan, Neolix will initiate road tests in Cyberjaya within the coming weeks. Cyberjaya is a key smart city and technology innovation hub in Malaysia, serving as the country's core testing zone for autonomous driving technology development.
The head of Neolix's Southeast Asia region stated that Malaysia represents a significant step in the company's international development strategy, noting that the Southeast Asian market has a long-term and clear demand for autonomous driving logistics infrastructure. The tests will cover various environments, including closed roads, semi-open roads, and public roads, with a focus on verifying vehicle performance under real urban traffic conditions. Malaysia's left-hand traffic rule also provides an important technical verification environment for Neolix's future large-scale deployment in more Asia-Pacific markets.
Over the past two years, Neolix has accelerated its global expansion. In 2025, the company became the first unmanned delivery enterprise to obtain a commercial operation license in Abu Dhabi, UAE. To date, Neolix's unmanned delivery services have covered over 15 countries and more than 300 cities worldwide, with a cumulative autonomous driving mileage exceeding 170 million kilometers.
