en.Wedoany.com Reported - The government of Santa Fe Province, Argentina has completed the third batch of billet export operations from the dock of the Villa Constitución Free Trade Zone (muelle de la Zona Franca de Villa Constitución). The operation was carried out by Acindar, mobilizing 1,092 trucks to transport 12,600 billets with a total weight of 30,000 tons to Colombia. This export integrates the participation of local enterprises, showcasing Santa Fe's capabilities in logistics infrastructure.

Provincial Minister of Production Development Gustavo Puccini stated that Santa Fe Province has over 30 public and private ports, as well as the only free trade zone in the country with its own dock. This operation highlights the differentiated advantage of logistics infrastructure compared to other provinces. He emphasized that having its own dock helps optimize time, reduce costs, and coordinate the participation of local enterprises in international operations. Four companies from Villa Constitución participated in this export.
Secretary of Transport and Logistics Mónica Alvarado pointed out that logistics is a state policy of this government. Breaking dependence on Buenos Aires and consolidating docks and free trade zones enables access to over 100 international destinations while reducing time and costs.
Chairman of the Board of the Santa Fe Free Trade Zone Mauro Gisbert emphasized that operations from the Villa Constitución dock confirm that Santa Fe Province possesses the technical and logistical capacity to sustain large-scale exports. Collaboration with local enterprises and the mobilization of over a thousand trucks demonstrate that the provincial infrastructure is ready to meet foreign trade challenges efficiently and safely.
