en.Wedoany.com Reported - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mauritian Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam, during their meeting in Seychelles, identified digital development and cybersecurity as key areas of bilateral cooperation, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening collaboration.

The two leaders met again following preliminary discussions at the AI Summit earlier this year, reviewing progress under the India–Mauritius Enhanced Strategic Partnership and exploring new opportunities for strategic cooperation. According to Modi, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of the partnership, including projects implemented under India's Special Economic Package for Mauritius. Discussions also covered the next phase of cooperation in areas such as capacity building, skills development, defense, energy, and cybersecurity.
The emphasis on cybersecurity and digital skills reflects the growing weight of technological cooperation in bilateral relations, with both sides planning to enhance digital resilience, cultivate talent, and support broader economic transformation. The meeting further underscores India's sustained engagement with Mauritius as a key regional partner, as both governments work to deepen cooperation in technology, innovation, and other strategic priorities while advancing shared development goals.
