en.Wedoany.com Reported - On June 16, 2026, aicep Global Parques and KEME ENERGY signed a surface rights agreement to develop an integrated project combining green hydrogen, energy storage, and sustainable mobility in the Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone (ZILS).

KEME ENERGY plans to deploy this initiative on a 9,443.84 square meter site, including a renewable hydrogen production unit based on electrolysis technology, a battery energy storage system, and two multi-fuel stations. These stations will provide green hydrogen refueling and ultra-fast electric vehicle charging services.
Leveraging the existing industrial, energy, and logistics infrastructure in Sines, one of the project's objectives is to diversify regional energy solutions and develop value chains related to renewable hydrogen, further consolidating Sines' position in Portugal's renewable energy and energy transition ecosystem.
