en.Wedoany.com Reported - Brasfield & Gorrie has been named the 2026 Contractor of the Year by ENR Southeast, an honor covering Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Florida. The Birmingham, Alabama-based contractor achieved a record company-wide revenue of $7.7 billion in 2025, driven primarily by its internal joint venture model, which pairs teams to pursue projects that no single office could handle independently.

This approach facilitated the delivery of multiple projects, including a $310 million water reclamation facility in Nashville and a $505 million federal design-build project in Huntsville, Alabama. Mission-critical work spanned the year, with the company's revenue from data center and hyperscale campus projects exceeding $2 billion.

The company not only expanded its project pipeline but also reshaped its operations. 2025 marked the first full year of operation for Brasfield & Gorrie's Market Leadership Teams, dedicated leaders responsible for healthcare, commercial, mission-critical, industrial, government, heavy civil, and self-perform work, coordinating strategies across regions. The company's AI platform, Magnus 2.5, recorded over 70,000 interactions within the first two months of its launch, with broader rollout still underway.

Leadership also saw changes in 2025, with Rob Blalock assuming the role of CEO. Despite rapid expansion, safety metrics remained strong, with Brasfield & Gorrie achieving an experience modification rate of 0.50 across more than 220 active job sites. The company also increased profit-sharing bonuses by 50%, promoted a record number of employees, and grew its professional staff by 8%.

Currently, the contractor operates 13 offices in the Southeast, stretching from Texas across the Gulf Coast into Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Florida. The company reported 631 active projects in 2025, valued at $29.4 billion, and forecasts 2026 revenue of $9.2 billion.
