en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, Sinotrans Limited and Hubei Port Group held discussions and signed a cooperation agreement to deepen collaboration on building a "multimodal transport hub in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River" (multimodal transport), jointly enhancing the logistics hub capacity of Hubei and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River region.

Zhang Yi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Sinotrans, led a delegation to visit and held talks with Zhou Yongshi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hubei Port Group, and Li Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager. The two sides reached consensus on topics such as logistics corridor construction, improvement of the multimodal transport system, and smart green ports. They clarified that the next step will involve deeply integrating the port and corridor resources under Hubei Port Group with Sinotrans' global supply chain network, comprehensively enhancing Hubei's logistics hub status in areas such as bulk commodities, containers, and cross-border e-commerce.
