en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Port Authority of Vilagarcía de Arousa and its estuary (Autoridad Portuaria de Vilagarcía de Arosa y su ría) has awarded a contract this week to MC Valnera for the provision of valuation services for land and water areas within the port service zone, as well as the valuation of land affected by navigational aids. The contract amount is €41,115.80, with an execution period of one year.

The current land and water valuation of the port authority was established in 2015. According to relevant regulations, such valuations must be revised at least every ten years. MC Valnera's work includes information collection, technical analysis, and document preparation prior to the formal drafting of the valuation study and the valuation of land affected by navigational aids. This involves modifying, supplementing, and adjusting all necessary technical documents, studies, and appendices to complete the administrative procedures for the valuation report and submit it for approval to the State Ports Authority (Puertos del Estado) and the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible).

The head of the port authority stated that the aforementioned work requires specific technical expertise, a certain degree of functional independence, and time for research and dedication, which cannot be fulfilled by the existing personnel and technical resources within the port authority.
