en.Wedoany.com Reported - On August 21, Air China Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Air China") and Royal Jordanian Airlines officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in Beijing.

According to the MoU, the two parties will actively explore code-sharing cooperation on key routes, leveraging the two major hubs of Beijing and Amman to provide passengers with more travel options and efficient, seamless transfer services. At the same time, the two parties will deepen collaboration in commercial areas such as interline operations, product training, and brand promotion, and will carry out in-depth cooperation in operational support fields including ground handling, air cargo, and in-flight catering around the Beijing and Amman hubs, jointly building a high-standard aviation service system.

Qu Guangji, President of Air China Group and CEO of Air China, stated that Air China and Royal Jordanian Airlines share a long-standing relationship with broad prospects for cooperation. As the flag carriers of China and Jordan respectively, both airlines are confident in jointly building a solid air link, and Air China will provide comprehensive support for Royal Jordanian Airlines' launch of a direct route between the capitals of the two countries. Air China looks forward to further consolidating the partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines, steadily advancing cooperation and coordination, facilitating tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between China and Jordan, and sharing development opportunities.

Samir Majali, Vice Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, stated that the signing of this MoU marks an important milestone in Royal Jordanian Airlines' efforts to strengthen its strategic presence in China and the Far East. Air China is a key strategic partner for Royal Jordanian Airlines, Beijing serves as a gateway to China and broader Asian markets, and Amman is a major aviation hub in the Levant region. The two parties will deepen cooperation, explore code-sharing opportunities, expand route network coverage, provide passengers with smoother and more convenient transfer experiences, and make every effort to ensure the successful launch of the direct route between the two capitals.

The signing of this MoU is a key milestone marking substantial progress in China-Jordan aviation cooperation, injecting new momentum into the long-term development of the aviation markets of both countries. Taking this signing as a new starting point, Air China and Royal Jordanian Airlines will continue to expand areas of cooperation, enrich the substance of their partnership, and build a more convenient "air bridge" for people-to-people exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural and tourism exchanges between the two countries.
