en.Wedoany.com Reported - U.S. real estate developer Golden Properties LLC has submitted a new building permit to the City of San Francisco for a five-story infill apartment project at 4148 24th Street in Noe Valley. The project, which received final approval last July, will replace a three-story mixed-use complex with a residential building containing seven apartments.
The new building will stand approximately 52 feet tall, with about 9,700 square feet of residential space distributed across four full floors and a mezzanine. The project will include seven two-bedroom apartments, one of which is a deed-restricted affordable housing unit. The ground floor will feature a bicycle storage room, a small passageway, and an apartment with access to a private backyard.
RKD Consulting is responsible for the design. Schematic section drawings show the infill building featuring vernacular architectural elements, with balconies overlooking 24th Street and the backyard.

The exterior facade will be finished with smooth fiber cement, stucco, and concrete cladding. The side walls are adorned with pixelated stucco panels.

The site, covering 0.06 acres, is located on 24th Street between Castro Street and Diamond Street, just a few blocks from the neighborhood commercial center, with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops nearby.

A demolition permit has not yet been submitted and is expected to target the existing three-story Mission Revival style infill building, which features ground-floor commercial space and one vacant residential unit. The construction cost is estimated at approximately $2.5 million, a figure that does not include all development expenses.
