en.Wedoany.com Reported - South Korea's TXR Robotics recently announced that it has signed a contract to supply modular lifting robots to a global semiconductor utility installation company, with a contract value of approximately 12.98 billion won. As a result, the company's cumulative robot orders this year have exceeded 20 billion won.
TXR Robotics disclosed the details of this contract on July 3. The modular lifting robot supplied this time is an omnidirectional autonomous mobile workbench robot, specifically designed for advanced large-scale manufacturing facilities such as semiconductor plants, to enhance work efficiency in high-altitude or overhead operations, applicable to processes such as overhead pipeline and equipment installation.
TXR Robotics explained that the robot adopts omnidirectional mobility technology based on Mecanum wheels, supporting movement in forward, backward, left, right, and diagonal directions, as well as in-place rotation. Even in complex construction site environments, the robot can move its platform according to the work position and adjust the platform height based on the working altitude, thereby improving worker accessibility and process efficiency.
The company stated that, based on its modular structure, multiple robots can be combined and flexibly adapted to site conditions and operational purposes. By converting some work processes to robot-based mobile platforms, it helps improve work efficiency and safety at construction sites for advanced manufacturing facilities such as semiconductor plants.
