en.Wedoany.com Reported - Hexagon Agility, a subsidiary of Hexagon Composites, has received the largest single order for Mobile Pipeline modules to date from Certarus, a leader in mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) solutions in North America.

The order is valued at an estimated $100 million (approximately NOK 1 billion) and includes an option to purchase additional modules worth up to $25 million (approximately NOK 250 million) through 2028.

The ordered Mobile Pipeline TITAN 450 and the newly launched TITAN 510 modules will support Certarus' growing fleet, serving newly signed contracts to ensure reliable CNG supply for hyperscale data center projects and meet increasing demand across multiple industrial markets. The TITAN 510 module, Hexagon Agility's latest product innovation, is developed for emerging needs in high-energy-consumption applications such as data centers, offering a 13% capacity increase over the TITAN 450.

Philipp Schramm, CEO of Hexagon Composites, stated that the company is proud to continue its decade-long collaboration with Certarus, jointly developing technologies to address critical infrastructure gaps in energy delivery methods. He noted that the company's long-standing focus on innovation directly supports emerging high-energy applications like data centers, while maintaining the modules' full mobility and redeployability to adapt to evolving customer needs.

Structural demand for virtual pipeline solutions continues to grow across multiple industries, including utilities, mining, renewable natural gas, and data centers. Driven by the growth of cloud computing and artificial intelligence workloads, data centers have become one of the fastest-growing sources of energy demand in the United States. Meanwhile, energy infrastructure development lags behind demand, with grid interconnection timelines often exceeding four years in many parts of the U.S. The gap between rapid data center deployment and infrastructure availability is driving demand for flexible, temporary energy solutions to support startup power and maintain critical systems. Hexagon Agility's Mobile Pipeline solution, with the largest gas transport capacity in North America, can deliver substantial energy without fixed pipelines and is seen as an effective solution to address grid infrastructure gaps.

Under the order schedule, deliveries are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with the majority completed within the following 12 months, and final delivery no later than 2028.
