en.Wedoany.com Reported - Australia's Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) has released its latest Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), confirming a 67% increase in contained gold ounces at its Paris Gold Deposit, totaling 253,000 ounces at a grade of 3.8 grams per tonne gold (Au).
The June 2026 MRE, covering the project located in the South Kalgoorlie region, provides global resources across three deposits: 3.47 million tonnes (Mt) at a grade of 3.1 g/t Au, totaling 351,000 ounces.
The Paris deposit currently contains 2.01 Mt at a grade of 3.8 g/t Au, corresponding to 253,000 ounces, an increase from the 151,000 ounces estimated in September 2024.
The HHH deposit contributes 1.15 Mt at a grade of 2.0 g/t Au, corresponding to 73,000 ounces, while the Observation deposit contributes 279,000 tonnes at a grade of 2.8 g/t Au, corresponding to 25,000 ounces.
Managing Director Craig Jones stated that the resource upgrade marks the culmination of drilling efforts over the past two years, with over 19 kilometers drilled in 2026 alone.
Jones said: "The Paris deposit now accounts for nearly 72% of the project's global resources."
"There is still much work to be done to unlock the full potential of the Paris Gold Project. The focus will first be on untested targets within the current resource area, while deepening our understanding of the structures and possible connections between the Paris, HHH, and Observation deposits."
Since the 2024 estimate, Torque has completed 36,582 meters of reverse circulation and diamond drilling in the growth area, with 31,914 meters concentrated on the Paris deposit.
In 2026, the open pit at the Paris deposit saw a 39% increase in contained gold ounces to 156,000 ounces, with indicated resources rising 243% to 114,000 ounces of gold.
In the same year, the underground portion of the Paris deposit saw a 144% increase in contained gold ounces to 97,000 ounces, with inferred gold ounces rising 134% to 92,000 ounces.
The company stated that drilling is currently underway, targeting systematic resource growth of existing deposits guided by downhole electromagnetic surveys.
Recent and ongoing drilling results from Paris, HHH, and Observation will be included in the next MRE update.
The Paris Gold Project covers approximately 57 kilometers of strike length within a 350-square-kilometer greenstone belt in the West Australian Goldfields.
