en.Wedoany.com Reported - Holland America Line has officially unveiled its 2027–2028 Caribbean season plans, offering 29 itineraries across 47 cruises covering the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, Southern Caribbean, and the Panama Canal region. The line features more itineraries of nine days or longer than any other cruise line operating in the Caribbean.

The season runs from October 2027 through March 2028, with cruise lengths ranging from five- to six-day short getaways to 28 days, calling at 35 ports across 25 countries and territories. Nearly every itinerary includes a stop at the award-winning private island, RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay. Holland America Line stated that the season also introduces upgraded onboard and shoreside experiences, including the debut of the redesigned Oosterdam as part of the company's Evolution investment program.

Paul Grigsby, Vice President of Deployment and Revenue Planning at Holland America Line, said the season was designed to give guests more ways to experience the Caribbean, whether they seek a short vacation or a longer journey exploring more regions. He noted that Holland America Line offers more Caribbean itineraries of nine days or longer than any other competitor, allowing guests more time to explore destinations, relax on the private island, and enjoy the line's signature onboard experiences.

The Oosterdam will begin sailing in the Caribbean in December 2027 as the first ship to debut under Holland America Line's Evolution investment program. Following its refurbishment, the ship introduces new stateroom and suite categories, including the Solo Verandah with a private balcony and dedicated workspace, and the Bridgeview Suite with panoramic ocean views and expanded living space, along with the Vista Suite making its debut on this vessel. The renovation also added the Grand Dutch Café, an all-day restaurant inspired by the company's Dutch heritage. During the 2027–2028 Caribbean season, the Oosterdam will operate longer itineraries in the Southern Caribbean and Panama Canal.

RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay appears on nearly every Caribbean itinerary, and this season the private island experience is enhanced with new services, including a new beach club offering waiter service, priority tendering, exclusive dining options, upgraded seating, and indoor-outdoor spaces with ship views. Other upgrades include expanded pavilions and villas, new shopping venues, upgraded beach facilities, and activities such as pickleball.

The season features eight holiday cruises covering Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Among them, the Rotterdam will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 22, 2027, for a seven-day Eastern Caribbean holiday itinerary, calling at Grand Turk (Turks and Caicos Islands), RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas), and an overnight stay in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Additionally, the redesigned Oosterdam will depart from Fort Lauderdale on December 22 for an 11-day Southern Caribbean holiday voyage, calling at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, George Town (Grand Cayman), and Cartagena, Colombia, with overnight stays in Aruba and Curaçao.

A highlight of the season is the 28-day Pan Am Centennial Legacy voyage aboard the Zuiderdam, departing roundtrip from Miami, Florida, on October 30, 2027. This sailing, in partnership with Pan American Airways, retraces the routes of the airline's historic Clipper seaplanes across the Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America, calling at 19 ports in 13 countries. Nearly half of the itinerary includes destinations that were part of Pan Am's original network.

Holland America Line currently operates a fleet of 11 ships, offering a mid-sized ship experience and visiting nearly 400 ports in 114 countries worldwide. The company is part of Carnival Corporation.
