Vítor Gibão, who has been with the company for eight years, will succeed Frederico Ferreira, who is retiring after leading the company for 17 years.

Vítor Gibão has a career spanning approximately two decades in the IT industry. Before joining Valantic LCS, he held roles such as Delivery Director for Asia Pacific, Operations Director, and Growth Director. The new CEO stated that the priority is to advance global expansion, with a focus on consolidating the U.S. market and investing in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), while strengthening the company's positioning in the era of "Agentic AI." He noted that the company is witnessing a reconfiguration of its partner network and aims to expand its maturity, relevance, and leadership in this era, hoping to integrate AI capabilities into key business applications to generate concrete and measurable value.

Pedro Delgado, Chief Operating Officer of Valantic LCS, believes this appointment is a natural evolution, and that Vítor Gibão's track record and global market experience will help enhance the consulting firm's competitive position. Vítor Gibão holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Lisbon and completed a postgraduate program at the Nova School of Business and Economics. Before joining Valantic LCS in 2018, he worked at companies such as Nokia Siemens Networks, TIMwe, OutSystems, Altitude Software, and Wodify. The company is headquartered in Leiria, Portugal, with offices in Lisbon, São Miguel in the Azores, Austin in the United States, Indore and Bhopal in India, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
