en.Wedoany.com Reported - Columbus McKinnon Corporation (CMCO) has expanded its Crosby Easy-Loc bolt retention system with 16 new sizes.

The expanded product line is compatible with Crosby G-2130, G-2140, and G-2160 shackles. The system is designed to replace traditional cotter pins, enabling faster, tool-free installation of shackle bolts. CMCO states that the product can be installed in three steps using one hand, reducing installation time by up to 90% compared to traditional bolt, nut, and cotter pin methods. The design aims to improve user safety and ergonomics during installation and removal.
The company highlighted several features of the Easy-Loc system, including its patented corrosion-resistant construction, suitable for demanding work environments. The system is also compliant with DROPS standards, designed to reduce the risk of component falling during installation or operation. Larger sizes feature an integrated handle to facilitate safer and easier handling.
The new sizes apply to G-2130E shackles in the following capacities: 25 tons, 35 tons, 55 tons, 85 tons, 120 tons, and 150 tons. For G-2140E shackles, additional sizes are 30 tons, 40 tons, 55 tons, 85 tons, 120 tons, 150 tons, and 175 tons. The Easy-Loc bolt system is compatible with both new and existing shackles.
CMCO develops and manufactures intelligent motion solutions for material handling, with a product range including rigging hardware, hoists and cranes, precision conveying, automation, and linear motion systems. The company's customers focus on lifting, positioning, securing, and moving materials.
