In smart factories, programmable logic controllers, robots, manufacturing execution systems (MES), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analytics platforms require high levels of integration, with interoperability relying on connectivity solutions that support multiple industrial protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and IO-Link.

Marques believes that as global powers accelerate investments in automation and advanced connectivity, Brazil is at a critical stage in modernizing its industrial base.
