en.Wedoany.com Reported - Fury Gold Mines (TSX:FURY) has initiated its 2026 drilling program at the Committee Bay project in Nunavut, Canada, with approximately 5,000 meters of diamond drilling targeting the Three Bluffs deposit and the Antler prospect.
The company plans to drill 13 holes over a 1-kilometer strike length at the Three Bluffs deposit, aiming to supplement and expand the known mineral resource. At the Antler gold zone, three holes are planned to test lateral and infill targets identified through a review of historical drilling. Historical intercepts in this area include 9.9 meters grading 3.19 g/t gold and 13 meters grading 4 g/t gold, with mineralization remaining untested along strike and at depth.
Fury Gold Mines CEO Tim Clark stated that this year's program focuses on areas where the company believes additional drilling could expand existing resources at Committee Bay and add gold ounces at Antler. Clark noted that the summer program reflects the company's continued focus on adding ounces at Committee Bay through rigorous technical execution, thereby creating value within its gold portfolio.
The Three Bluffs deposit currently contains 524,000 ounces of gold (2.1 million tonnes at 7.85 g/t gold, indicated category) and 720,000 ounces of gold (2.9 million tonnes at 7.64 g/t gold, inferred category). Results from the 2026 drilling program are expected to be incorporated into a future updated mineral resource estimate.
Fury Gold Mines is a Canadian gold exploration company focused on advancing its Committee Bay project in Nunavut and the Eau Claire asset in Quebec.
