en.Wedoany.com Reported - Enphase Energy has launched the IQ Air smart thermostat, which features built-in home energy consumption display, allowing homeowners to view solar power generation, battery performance, and household electricity usage.

The IQ Air optimizes HVAC operation by sensing solar power generation, battery state of charge, time-of-use electricity rates, weather forecasts, and virtual power plant events. This thermostat supports multiple HVAC zones and can independently control the temperature of each zone. It is compatible with 24-volt HVAC systems, and users can complete installation themselves with guided setup through the Enphase App.

Jeremy Jones, Managing Director of Evolved Energy, stated that the IQ Air can be mounted on the wall during site surveys, even before solar panels are installed, allowing users to interact with their Enphase system from day one. Each zone takes approximately 10 minutes to wire, with the App providing step-by-step guidance, offering opportunities to revisit existing customers to discuss batteries, electric vehicle chargers, and system expansion.

The IQ Air smart thermostat is now available for online pre-order and can also be ordered through Enphase distribution partners, with shipments expected to begin in August 2026.

Ravi Pervela, Senior Vice President of Cloud, Security, and HEMS at Enphase Energy, said that the IQ Air brings Enphase's smart capabilities to one of the most familiar control points in the home. Users can manage comfort, view real-time power flow on the wall, and achieve broader control over solar, battery, electricity rates, and grid programs through the Enphase App.
