en.Wedoany.com Reported - Nordex Group has secured an order from German renewable energy developer UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen) for approximately 700 MW of wind turbines. The order, placed at the end of June, covers 100 N175/6.X and N163/6.X turbines, each with a rated capacity of 7 MW, to be installed across several projects in multiple German federal states.

In addition to turbine supply, the order includes multi-year operation and maintenance contracts to ensure long-term site operations. The turbines are based on Nordex's Delta4000 platform. Gernot Gauglitz, CEO of the UKA Group, stated that successful EEG (Renewable Energy Sources Act) auctions in the August 2025 and February 2026 rounds laid the foundation for this large-volume order, and the company expects to achieve 1 GW of wind power installed capacity within a single calendar year. Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President of Nordex Central Region, described UKA as one of the manufacturer's most important and reliable partners.
UKA currently has approximately 1.6 GW of onshore wind projects under construction in its home market of Germany. Founded in 1985, Nordex has installed over 64 GW of wind power capacity across more than 40 markets, with group revenue of approximately €7.6 billion in 2025. This order reflects the continued growth of Germany's onshore wind project pipeline, a key component of the energy transition in the Baltic region and neighboring markets.
