Wind Farm Operation and Maintenance, commonly known as Wind O&M, refers to the monitoring, inspection, maintenance, fault diagnosis, spare parts management, performance optimization, and safety management of wind farms and wind turbine systems. As global wind power capacity continues to expand, wind O&M is moving from traditional manual inspection toward digital, intelligent, and predictive maintenance. Key areas include blade inspection, gearbox maintenance, generator servicing, converter maintenance, tower monitoring, SCADA data analysis, and asset performance optimization. Efficient wind O&M helps improve turbine availability, reduce the levelized cost of energy, extend equipment life, and secure long-term returns from wind power assets.
