Two Nauticus Comanche ROVs in the US Simultaneously Deployed for Commercial Operations

One unit is operating in the northeastern United States, providing services for an offshore wind project; the other is deployed along the U.S. Gulf Coast, performing offshore platform inspection tasks. The two Comanche ROVs are currently in simultaneous commercial operation.

Nauticus stated that offshore ROV operations volume in the third quarter of this year has increased compared to the previous period. These deployments cover two distinct offshore operating markets in the United States, with both Comanche units and associated offshore personnel now mobilized to customer projects. The company has also submitted new ROV project bids and proposals for multiple regions across the U.S. and international offshore markets; these potential projects have not yet been included in the announced commercial operations volume and have not yet resulted in definitive contracts.

In the second quarter of this year, Nauticus integrated its Nauticus ToolKITT autonomous control software onto the Comanche ROV and deployed it in customer field operations. Following the system's commercial deployment in actual projects, the company began selling the ToolKITT software to underwater robotics operators, with target application markets including the energy and defense sectors. During the same period, Nauticus expanded its offshore wind business on the U.S. East Coast, completed a project for a global subsea cable-laying company, and continued developing projects on the U.S. West Coast and in international markets.

According to Nauticus's second-quarter 2026 filing with U.S. securities regulators, the company's business portfolio includes ROVs, the Aquanaut autonomous underwater vehicle, the Olympic Arm electric underwater manipulator, and the Nauticus ToolKITT autonomous control software. ToolKITT has previously been deployed on third-party ROVs, and the company continued autonomous operation training at its Florida test facility in the first half of 2026, with plans to expand the software's field applications through its own ROV fleet.

Based on historical operating data, Nauticus generated second-quarter revenue of $885.9 thousand, down from $2,075.6 thousand in the same period of 2025, a year-over-year decline of 57%; first-half 2026 revenue was $1,045.5 thousand, down 53% year-over-year. In its quarterly filing, the company attributed the revenue decline primarily to the slow start of the ROV market in the first half of the year. Second-quarter revenue increased from $159.6 thousand in the first quarter of 2026.

After completing the SeaTrepid acquisition in March 2025, Nauticus integrated its ROV fleet and offshore services business into its existing underwater robotics operations. The company's current business model includes providing ROV and autonomous underwater vehicle operation services, selling robots and components, and offering related software licenses to commercial and defense customers.
