100MW Photovoltaic Project in Heshun, Shanxi, China Achieves Full Capacity Grid Connection
en.Wedoany.com Reported - Recently, the 100MW photovoltaic project in Heshun, Shanxi, achieved full capacity grid connection and power generation.
Located in Mafang Township, Heshun County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, the project has a total installed capacity of 100MW and is equipped with four 35kV collector lines connected to the Xiyang Langsheng photovoltaic power station, completing grid connection via the Songxi Station. Construction began at the end of March 2026, facing challenges such as a tight schedule, complex land acquisition coordination, and significant terrain undulations. By actively coordinating and liaising with all participating construction units, the project successfully achieved full capacity grid connection.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate an average of 170 million kWh of electricity annually, saving approximately 57,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 137,000 tons each year. With its green and low-carbon efficiency, it will support local ecological protection and promote a dual improvement in regional ecological and economic benefits.
