en.Wedoany.com Reported - Audi México has secured the top three positions in the "Best Performance in German Dual Education Model Level B Mechatronics" category at the second edition of the Premio de Excelencia Dual (Dual Excellence Awards) held in 2026, showcasing its strength in professional talent development.

The award is jointly presented by the Mexican-German Chamber of Commerce (CAMEXA), the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), the German Agency for International Cooperation Mexico Office (GIZ), and the Alliance for Professional Dual Education (Alianza para la Educación Dual Profesional). It aims to recognize best practices in dual education and human capital development in the industrial sector, bridging academic education with practical experience in the production sector.
This year's selection involved 24 factories operating under the German dual education model in Mexico. Audi México's trainees swept the top three positions in the mechatronics category, a discipline considered strategic for the technological transformation of the automotive industry. The awards were based on the results of the 2025 national assessment, where trainees demonstrated outstanding academic performance, self-discipline, and commitment to professional development.
Selene Nascimento, Vice President of Human Resources and Organization at Audi México, stated that these results reflect the positive impact of the company's investment in cultivating a new generation of professionals. Andreas Müller, Deputy General Manager of CAMEXA, emphasized Audi México's role in consolidating the dual education model in the country.
The company participated with its mechatronics dual education program, a key discipline for addressing the current demands of automation, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing in the automotive industry. Since launching the dual education program in 2018, the company has trained over 380 trainees, combining technical education, practical experience, and direct alignment with production processes to nurture young professionals and enhance the competitiveness of Mexico's automotive industry.
