en.Wedoany.com Reported - German company DELO has introduced the new DELO-ACTIVIS 330 integrated dispensing and curing system, which combines dispensing and activation into a single step and features a compact design tailored for miniaturized production needs.
The new model, with a height of approximately 387 mm, is about 80 mm shorter than its predecessor, the DELO-ACTIVIS 600, making it more compact and easier to integrate into existing production lines. The equipment can precisely handle adhesives as small as 4 microliters, designed to meet customer demands for smaller device sizes and finer dispensing volumes.
The core technology of the system is the patented Activation on the Flow (AOF) process, which merges dispensing and curing into one step. The device pre-activates the adhesive during dispensing through an integrated internal light source, allowing the adhesive to begin curing before reaching the component. The benefits of this process include: suitability for complex geometries and opaque materials, offering greater design freedom; the use of adhesives enables lighter structures, smooth surfaces, and tolerance compensation; direct post-processing through simultaneous exposure and dispensing reduces process costs; carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by up to 98%, along with lower energy consumption; the system saves space and can be used as a standalone system; flexible adhesive selection meets various requirements such as high resistance to media and temperature.
With the launch of the DELO-ACTIVIS 330, DELO has simultaneously expanded its range of high-tech adhesives specifically developed for the AOF technology, increasing from three to eight types. The expansion of adhesives is as important as the development of the equipment, as the new adhesives allow for new degrees of freedom in component design. The expanded product portfolio covers a wide range from low to high viscosity: low-viscosity adhesives are suitable for fine structures and display applications (such as MiniLED/MicroLED), while high-viscosity adhesives offer shape stability for scenarios like gap filling or preventing overflow. The adhesive types also include categories ranging from transparent to black, and from soft elastic to high strength. All new adhesives are optimized for fast, space-saving, and climate-friendly production processes.
Modern product design requires a balance between functional stability, aesthetics, and efficient manufacturing. Traditional methods such as screws and rivets can leave visible marks and cause mechanical stress in lightweight or transparent materials. Adhesive technologies like the DELO-ACTIVIS 330 enable strong bonding of different materials without visible fasteners, imposing fewer design constraints. The combination of technical performance, design freedom, and process reliability is becoming the foundation for many new design concepts.
