China Academy of Machinery Science and Technology Holds Symposium for Winners of Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award

In their speeches, the two award representatives expressed that the honor was inspiring and highlighted their responsibility in serving the development of national equipment manufacturing. They will continue to conduct scientific research focused on major national needs, striving to achieve higher-level outcomes.

Qin Hanjun pointed out that technological innovation is the foundation of the group's development. The group should leverage its institutional and mechanism advantages, integrate resources, and concentrate efforts on tackling fundamental commonalities and key core technologies in equipment manufacturing. At the same time, emphasis should be placed on integrating innovation with industry, establishing a mechanism where "research sets the questions and industry provides the answers," to unblock the entire chain of technology transfer and transform technological advantages into industrial competitive advantages. Additionally, talent cultivation must be strengthened, incentive systems optimized, and a high-quality scientific research team built to accumulate momentum for the group's development.

CAM plans to further advance technological innovation and talent development, accelerate technology transfer, build a national strategic scientific and technological force, and support China's fundamental common technology research and the development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
