en.Wedoany.com Reported - MediaForEurope (MFE) plans to integrate technologies developed from its Italian and German operations to launch a single streaming platform across its European markets, intensifying efforts to compete with U.S. streaming giants.

MFE, which has established broadcasting operations in Italy and Spain and gained control of German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 in 2025, is taking this step as part of its plan to expand its European scale.
CEO Pier Silvio Berlusconi stated that MFE has selected the "best-performing elements" from its existing streaming services to create a single platform for the countries where it operates. He explained, "The front end will be Italian, while the supporting technology will be German." The platform is scheduled to launch in January 2027.
ProSiebenSat.1 owns the German AVoD platform Joyn, while MFE has developed the Infinity service in the Italian and Spanish markets.
Berlusconi noted that MFE will continue to produce content and programming tailored to the tastes of audiences in each country, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. "We are not an international fast-food chain," he added. "We curate live programming for each country. We have to do this, with products that are first born on television and then transferred to digital platforms."
