Cangzhou Huanghua Port is continuously improving its comprehensive logistics and trade functions, focusing on its strategic positioning as an international trade port, a key hub for the Belt and Road Initiative, and a convenient sea outlet for the Xiongan New Area. Currently, key projects with a total investment of 14.825 billion yuan, including the No. 9 and No. 10 general berths in the comprehensive port area, a ro-ro terminal, and a 300,000-ton crude oil terminal in the bulk cargo port area, are being accelerated. The port has opened 21 domestic and international container shipping routes, establishing trade connections with over 200 ports in more than 50 countries and regions worldwide. Meanwhile, Cangzhou Huanghua Port is accelerating the layout of inland ports along the Handan-Huanghua, Shuozhou-Huanghua, and Taiyuan-Zhongwei-Yinchuan railway lines. The Huanghua Port-Liangshan Inland Port has been successfully established, bringing the total number of inland ports to 32, significantly extending port services into the hinterland.

Cangzhou Port Group plans to continue advancing 28 key port projects with a total investment of 52.8 billion yuan, collaboratively constructing specialized terminals for ore, containers, crude oil, and ro-ro cargo. According to the plan, after all projects are completed by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Huanghua Port will have 78 operational berths, possessing 16 of the 17 major port functions, achieving a strategic transformation from a bulk cargo-dominated port to a comprehensive hub.
