en.Wedoany.com Reported - Boluda Corporación Marítima has officially inaugurated its new regional headquarters in the Rotterdam maritime district, which will coordinate Boluda Towage and Boluda Shipping's operations in Northern Europe.

Company Chairman Vicente Boluda Fos attended the inauguration ceremony, accompanied by Boluda Towage CEO Vicente Boluda Ceballos, Boluda Shipping CEO Ignacio Boluda Ceballos, and Group Corporate Director Verónica Boluda Ceballos.

Rotterdam Harbor Master René de Vries represented the port authority at the event, and Ana Núñez, Director General of the Merchant Marine at the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, also participated.

The group chose Rotterdam because Northwest Europe is crucial to its development, with the region concentrating the continent's main logistics, industrial, and port hubs. After a decade of growth in the region, the company believes the new headquarters will enable more effective coordination of its activities and continued expansion in this market.

Since 2023, Boluda Shipping has strengthened maritime connections between the Iberian Peninsula, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Boluda Towage entered Germany in 2017, beginning its expansion in Northern Europe, and has since extended operations to the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Finland, and Norway. It currently serves over 21 ports in the region with a fleet of 138 tugs and specialized local crews.

Boluda Shipping strengthened its presence in Northern Europe in 2023 by launching regular short-sea shipping services between the Iberian Peninsula, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, consolidating Rotterdam's role as a logistics hub in its European network. Boluda Towage remains the world's largest port towage operator, while Boluda Shipping continues to expand its maritime and multimodal services to connect Northern Europe with the Iberian Peninsula, West Africa, and Cape Verde.

The inauguration of the new headquarters marks a new milestone in the development journey of Boluda Corporación Marítima, a company with nearly two centuries of history, operations across five continents, and over 10,000 employees.
