en.Wedoany.com Reported - Germany Phoenix Contact has launched the SPTH series push-in TWIN PCB connectors, which retain the classic MKDS screw connection solution while introducing push-in spring connection technology, aiming to simplify on-site wiring processes and improve equipment connection efficiency.
As electronic devices move towards high integration and efficient connectivity, precise design and efficient operation of wiring products in limited spaces have become increasingly important. The SPTH series push-in TWIN PCB connectors from Phoenix Contact enable flexible switching between screw connections and push-in connections within the same footprint. This series has a wiring capacity of 2.5mm² and is equipped with larger test holes.
The TWIN design is one of the core features of the SPTH series. This design allows both push-in and screw connection methods to use a unified PCB layout and device housing, enabling quick switching between the two connection technologies while helping to reduce procurement and storage costs. The push-in technology used enables tool-free wiring, allowing rigid and flexible conductors with ferrules to be connected safely and reliably, while the colored push-button facilitates wire release.

In terms of product dimensions, the SPTH 1.5 series is compact, saving approximately 20% space compared to traditional fixed connectors using push-in connections, contributing to more efficient use of PCB space. This series also features integrated test jacks that support standard test probes up to 2mm in diameter, facilitating on-site testing and troubleshooting. Additionally, the optimized solder pin geometry helps achieve precise positioning during assembly.

This series is suitable for equipment upgrades or new device development.
