en.Wedoany.com Reported - KP Energy Ltd has commissioned the first phase of a 50.4 MW wind power project for NTPC Renewable Energy at Vanki and Nakhatrana in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India.
This phase involved the installation of 16 Suzlon wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The project achieved commercial operation date (COD) on July 8, 2026.
Developed by KP Energy, this project adds to its utility-scale wind portfolio, further strengthening its position in India's renewable energy sector. The company stated that project execution focused on timely delivery and large-scale infrastructure development.
Dr. Faruk G Patel, Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of KP Group, commented on the project's commissioning, stating that this achievement reflects the company's commitment to building renewable energy infrastructure and supporting India's clean energy transition.
