During a project meeting, the client noted that foreign equipment uses 3 impellers while domestic equipment requires 4. Jin Xin's team developed a completely new model from scratch, replacing the 4-stage impeller with a 3-stage one. Compared to traditional models, the new equipment's overall weight decreased by 25%, and operational efficiency increased by 1%; compared to the first-generation product, the weight reduction reached 43%. This lightweight design shortens the manufacturing cycle and reduces the user's long-term energy consumption. The team's current goal is to achieve an additional 15% weight reduction.

In the field of ultra-large air separation compressor research and development, core technologies for levels above 100,000 were long monopolized by foreign companies. Jin Xin's team spent five years developing the 8+2 ultra-large air separation compressor unit, and then another three years iterating to introduce a 6-stage axial plus 1-stage centrifugal solution, reducing the unit's overall weight by 30% and increasing operational efficiency by 2%. This series of domestic units outperforms similar overseas products in terms of cost-effectiveness, delivery cycle, and on-site operation and maintenance services, with 19 units currently in operation.
