en.Wedoany.com Reported - The Department of Natural Resources of Liaoning Province and the Liaoning Provincial Public Resource Trading Center jointly issued an announcement on July 10, 2026, publicly listing 7 mining rights for transfer through listing, including 6 exploration rights and 1 mining right. These mining rights are distributed across five regions: Anshan, Dandong, Tieling, Chaoyang, and Panjin, covering five mineral types: geothermal, mineral water, iron, coal, and metallurgical dolomite. This initiative aims to increase the market-oriented transfer of mining rights and actively attract social capital to participate in mineral resource exploration and development.

Liaoning Province is a major industrial base and a significant mineral resource province in China, with 120 types of minerals discovered and 85 types with verified reserves. Among these, the reserves of iron ore, magnesite, boron ore, and talc rank among the highest in the country. The Anshan region is one of China's largest iron ore enrichment areas, with proven reserves accounting for over a quarter of the national total. The Dandong region is rich in geothermal resources and is an important hot spring tourism destination in Liaoning. The Tieling region has widespread coal resources and is a key component of Liaoning's traditional energy base. The Chaoyang region is abundant in metallurgical dolomite and iron ore resources. The Panjin region is known for its oil, natural gas, and geothermal resources.

Among the 7 mining rights listed for transfer, the exploration rights include projects such as the mineral water reconnaissance in Heigou Town, Donggang City, the iron ore reconnaissance in the Anshan region, and the metallurgical dolomite reconnaissance in the Chaoyang region. The mining right involves a coal mining project in the Tieling region. This transfer will be strictly implemented in accordance with relevant regulations, adhering to the principles of openness, fairness, and justice, standardizing transaction procedures, and helping to revitalize the province's mineral resource potential, effectively transforming resource advantages into economic development momentum.

The Department of Natural Resources of Liaoning Province stated that it will continue to increase the market-oriented transfer of mining rights, actively attract social capital to participate in mineral resource exploration and development, effectively ensure the supply of mineral resource factors, and support the province's high-quality economic and social development. Interested bidders can obtain detailed transfer information and participate in bidding through the Liaoning Provincial Public Resource Trading Platform. This centralized transfer of mining rights is an important measure for Liaoning Province to deepen the reform of mineral resource management and promote the market-oriented allocation of mining rights, helping to further unlock the potential of mineral resources and provide resource support for regional economic development.
