en.Wedoany.com Reported - Construction company Caddick Construction has been appointed by Royal London Asset Management Property as the main contractor for a new industrial project development at Satellite Park in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
Caddick has secured a £25 million contract to construct two industrial units and associated external works. This project is part of Royal London Asset Management Property's expansion of its investment in industrial and logistics space in the Northwest region.
Located on a 14-acre site in the Greengate industrial area, the project will provide modern warehouse and manufacturing facilities, aiming to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating. The scheme is designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality industrial space within this established business district.
The project is scheduled for completion in summer 2027. In addition to the two new buildings, Caddick will carry out extensive external works, including the construction of over 300 parking spaces, some of which will be equipped with electric vehicle charging points.
This appointment further strengthens Caddick Construction's industrial and logistics portfolio in the Northwest region. Currently, the company is building the £14 million Junction 4 project at White Moss Business Park for Tawd Valley Developments, which comprises 45 commercial units.
Caddick is also preparing to construct four industrial units totaling 96,000 square feet at Farington Park in Leyland on behalf of Caddick Developments. This project will commence after the completion of the first phase, which has delivered a 544,000 square foot logistics hub designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating.
